Summer 2008 marked 10 years of service to children and families impacted by HIV/AIDS for Camp Kindle. Camp Kindle’s 10th summer camping session was held in Fremont, Nebraska from August 4-10th. This session served over 90 youth from all over the Midwest. 52 volunteer counselors and staff helped to make Camp Kindle a success! This year we had Kaila Williams at both of our camp sessions to film and take pictures of our week. Check out her short documentary she made about our campers on our homepage. In addition to the Nebraska camp session, Camp Kindle also held its 4th Annual Camp Kindle West session. This year, Camp Kindle West doubled in size! Serving over 75 campers with a dedicated staff of 45, this was one of the best years of CKW so far. We are excited for next summer as our camp continues to grow and expand to the entire west coast. Thank you to our amazing staff at both Camp Kindle sessions. Our 10 year anniversary was truly a special experience for all who were involved.
